▫️ Not all of the companies below will be able to accommodate your budget or minimum order requirements, so knowing what you can afford and quantities before going into the quote process is extremely helpful to know if they are a good fit with your production scale. Some are built for smaller businesses and some are geared towards higher quantities and established businesses. It’s not uncommon for your packaging to evolve or change and scale up after your sales get rolling or even change printing vendors as your quantities can go up and you can get better prices per item.

▫️ Not all companies will be able to print both labels, boxes, and provide vessels in one place. It is common to have to source all your items through multiple companies to create and assemble your 1 product. Making sure colors, foils and textures of materials match across companies is imperative, have your designer help you with this!

▫️ If you are using a product manufacture or bottling facility for any part of the process, make sure you understand their requirements and limitations with printing finishes and bottle vessels to achieve the product design you desire and communicate those stipulations to your designer.

▫️ Most companies provide swatch guides and samples to view before confirming the order, just ask your representative to send you samples, usually if you are a prospected client they will do this for free.

▫️ Timelines on these printing projects can vary but don’t be surprised if some may take several months to produce and then to deliver. This can be a very long process to even source and find the right company to go with, so make sure you account for all this time during your launch period.

▫️ If you are looking for creative ways to save money on your packaging, talk to your brand and packaging designer to create solutions to achieve high-level packaging at lower production costs by using templates, standardized items and adding customizations like tape, stickers and stamps to brand on ready made items rather than print directly on custom packaging items.

▫️ You can choose from standard packaging options (options are limited but much more affordable, no customizations included you are just buying the materials in a certain size and quantity, you can customize these with labels, tape, stickers, stamps etc) or custom packaging options which are branded designs printed and cut sizes customized exactly to your preferences and specifications. (options are endless)

▫️ Alot of custom and high quality packaging sources are companies based internationally and not in the US. Shipping costs are usually higher because of this.
